Gifting is a very popular phenomenon all across the globe
and is recognized as a gesture love and care. Periodic exchange of gifts does
not only help in maintaining social relationships but also in strengthening
them. The idea does not necessarily reflect a materialistic approach, as a gift
doesn’t always have to be something very expensive. It should just be able to
put your thoughts and feelings across.
There are different gifts for different occasions, whether
it’s an anniversary, birthday, Christmas or wedding. And it is not an easy task
to choose a gift that the receiver would love to have. For that we must know a
little bit about the person’s interests and inclinations so that we can figure
out if the gift we are planning to buy will be liked by the receiver or not.
In today’s world we hardly have time to stay in frequent
touch with all our friends and relatives and know a great deal about their
interest. So when it comes to buying an interesting gift, we are no longer left
with a choice but to ask someone who knows the person better if not the person
himself. This at times can get a little embarrassing and so does giving an
uninteresting present. Both are very much capable of ruining the element of
surprise.
There is only one way to be certain of what your friend
would like to get as a present for their birthday or wedding or whatever, and
that is by getting access to their wish list. Yes, as a child, we all use to
make a wish list for our presents but now as we have grown up, we find it very childish
to do something like that. We all do have a wish list but we don’t pen it down
anymore.
Recently, a social gifting app, GiftBox, has been launched by Invert Logistics. This app allows the users to create an online wish list that all their friends and family members can easily access. The items they all to the GiftBox wish list can be purchased online with just a few simple clicks. What makes this app stand out amongst all the other social gifting apps is the fact it is also available for iPhone and Android users, and they can easily use it on their mobile phones.
